Seit neuestem bietet SimonsVoss neben der bewährten Aktivtechnologie und der Hybrid-Variante auch reine Passivkomponenten an. Diese können mit den SimonsVoss - SmartTags MIFARE DESFire - 100 - Stück - TRA.TAG.DESFIRE8K.100, EV2, 8k Speicher, angesprochen werden. Außerdem besteht damit die Möglichkeit, bereits vorhandene SmartCards im System 3060 zu verwenden. Die Programmierung der Karten erfolgt über das Programmiergerät SMARTCD.MP – wahlweise stand-alone oder zum Anschluss an einen PC / Laptop über USB-Schnittstelle.
