Fire detection systems

The best position in terms of fire protection

Fire safety is a topic that concerns everyone. But also a topic that is often underestimated. Every year, German insurance companies register fire damage amounting to several hundred million euros. But no insurance of the world can protect body and life. And that's what's crucial in kindergartens, homes, and wherever many people come together.

The new wireless fire alarm system BEKA reliably detects the first signs of a fire, alerts reliably and thus enables a timely evacuation. It is a construction product approved according to DIN EN 54, quickly installed and cost-effective to purchase.

Finally, a bright spot in a gray area: Fields of application

Day care centers, homes, accommodation and shared housing for seniors and people with disabilities. Special facilities require special fire protection solutions.

While there are clear statutory fire protection regulations for private apartments and large functional buildings, there was no definite regulation for smaller special buildings in the past. But a legal gray area in which those responsible could decide for themselves how to solve the issue of fire protection.

The problem: where the protection requirements are high, the available budget is often small. A legally approved, but expensive fire alarm system is therefore out of the question. Inexpensive smoke detectors are not allowed.

As a manufacturer of fire protection solutions, we were the first to recognize the problem and launched the Beka fire alarm system in 2016 as a tailored fire protection solution for smaller special buildings.

The fire alarm BEKA is optimally suited for:

  • small to medium sized office buildings and commercial businesses
  • kindergartens
  • Retirement homes
  • Accommodation (up to 60 beds)

The brand new VDE standard DIN 0826-2 - BEKA as the optimal solution

Since this year, the fire alarm standard VDE 0826-2 is available as a draft law. It regulates the fire protection regulations for smaller special buildings and creates clarity in the legal gray area. If the standard is anchored in the state building regulations, it becomes a legal requirement. At least then, all those who do not yet have adequate fire protection, need specific action.

With the BEKA fire alarm system, the right system is already available today. It is inexpensive, quickly installed by radio and corresponds exactly to the new VDE standard DIN 0826-2. This means absolute legal certainty in planning and project planning. Today, tomorrow and in the future.

The features of the fire alarm system BEKA:

  • Fire alarm system with monitored radio path to EN 54-25
  • Wireless smoke-heat and combined detectors available
  • Bidirectional signal transmission on 2 radio bands with 24 channels
  • The BEKA fire detectors are approved according to EN 54-5 or EN 54-7 and EN 54-25 and thus an approved construction product
  • The push button detector in blue with imprinted house alarm is designed according to EN 54-11 with EN 54-25 radio
  • Extensive alarm via wireless siren for evacuation according to EN 54-3 or via signal generator in the detector base with 85 dB (A) volume
  • Innovative acoustic range test for fast and safe installation of detectors and sirens
  • Intelligent TwinPower® battery technology of the wireless smoke and heat detectors and combination detectors enables unrestricted operation over 10 years and ensures low maintenance costs
  • Simple replacement of the dirty detection chamber - the detector remains optically unchanged and has a new 10-year operation
  • The maintenance mode allows a quick and easy check of the system status via the control panel for easy one-man maintenance! So low maintenance costs.
  • Easy check of the system status - easily via central display
