XS4 Wireless components

The SALTO XS4 online advanced wireless solution delivers real-time high level security with all the convenience of batteryoperated access control. It’s the perfect choice for applications that need an access control system with low power consumption, providing online control without any need to hard-wire.

Simply set up the gateways (which are connected by Ethernet/WIFI to the controlling PC) and Nodes in predefined wireless zones and you’re ready to go. The battery powered escutcheons and electronic cylinders use built-in low power (2.4 GHz) radio transceivers to communicate with the gateways to create a real-time wireless access control network.

Gateways

Das Gateway stellt die Verbindung zwischen dem Server und dem Wireless-Netzwerk her. Dabei leitet es sämtliche Information, die es von den ihm zugehörigen Nodes, Beschlägen und Zylindern erhält, an die Zentrale weiter bzw. verbreitet Informationen aus der Zentrale an die Wireless-Komponenten. Das Gateway wird über die Software ProAccess SPACE verwaltet.

• Up to 4 repeaters and 16 fittings can be connected to a Gatewayx1C. Mixed operation with RFnet and BLUEnet nodes NOT possible.
• Up to 7 nodes and 16 fittings with RFnet technology can be connected to a Gatewayx2C (1 internal + 6 external). An internal RFnet node included. Mixed operation of RFnet and BLUEnet nodes possible.
• Up to 7 nodes and 16 fittings with BLUEnet technology can be connected to a Gatewayx3C (1 internal + 6 external). An internal SALTO BLUEnet node included. Mixed operation of RFnet and BLUEnet nodes possible.

Nodes

The node is used for network expansion and establishes the connection between the gateway and the door components if the distance to the fittings / cylinders or the number of them is too great. The RFNodes (3) are compatible with Gatewayx2C and Gatewayx3C.

• Up to 16 SALTO RFnet compatible fittings and cylinders can be connected to an RFNode.
• Up to 16 SALTO BLUEnet compatible access components can be connected to an RFNode3.
