How many doors and users are possible with Mobilekey?
With the SimonsVoss MobileKey system, a maximum of 20 door components (locking cylinder, SmartRelay, padlocks) and 100 users (transponder, pin code keypad, Key4Friends) can be installed.

Can the system be expanded to include additional components?
Unfortunately, the system cannot be expanded. If you are planning more than 20 door components and 100 users, you need a SimonsVoss System 3060 locking system with at least LSM Basic and the SMARTCD.G2 programming device.

Are SimonsVoss MobileKey components compatible with SimonsVoss System 3060 components?
No! The only exception is the transponder or switching transponder. These can be used in both systems. Both systems are even possible on one transponder, so that one transponder can lock in a System 3060 as well as in a MobileKey system. NO MobileKey components can be programmed with the LSM software (Starter, Basic, Basic Online etc.) and the programming devices (CD.STARTER.G2, SMARTCD.G2, SMARTCD.MP).

How can I basically differentiate between the System 3060 and MobileKey?
When buying the components, pay attention to the manufacturer numbers, which are usually stored in the product name. Mobilekey usually has the prefix "MK." (e.g. MK.CD.STARTER.G2) in your manufacturer number at the beginning of the number. System 3060 components usually do not have this. Accessories or tools that are not MK. in the manufacturer number can usually be used for both systems. You can find system-compatible articles in the corresponding categories of the shop.

Do I absolutely need the MK.CD.STARTER.G2 USB programming stick?
In principle, it is possible to run a pure online locking system that can only be locked using a smartphone / iPhone, Smartbridge and locking components with LockNode. BUT: It is strongly recommended to create at least 2 emergency transponders for the locking system using a USB programming stick, if the cloud is not accessible but you still have access to your premises. (special cases can be maintenance work, power outages or hardware defects). ATTENTION: Make absolutely sure not to confuse MK.CD.STARTER.G2 and CD.STARTER.G2, as the CD.STARTER.G2 can only be used for the System 3060. Unfortunately, the manufacturer numbers are very similar.

What is the range of the SmartBridge and can I operate several SmartBridges?
The SmartBridge has a range of up to 25-30 meters. However, up to 10 SmartBridges can also be integrated in one locking system. SmartBridges can be operated in different ways depending on the application and configuration. The most important scenarios are shown below: MobileKey ONLINE can manage multiple access points. In this way, several locations or very distant locks can be covered with the MobileKey ONLINE network. Which lock is addressed by which access point is automatically determined by MobileKey ONLINE based on the signal strength.

How does the door opening work with the smartphone using the Key4Friends app?
Key4Friends enables the sharing of keys via smartphones. Keys can be easily shared with friends. Your friend will receive an email informing them of your shared key. The email describes exactly how this shared key can be used with the help of the free Key4Friends app. Your friend installs the Key4Friends app and registers quickly and free of charge with their email address and telephone number. This unique combination is the only way to ensure that your key can only be used by your friend's phone.

Access authorization using the Key4Friends app is max. Valid for 6 months and must then be renewed. The Key4Friends app sends a remote opening command via the SmartBridge and only works with the online extension. Therefore, you can only mark locks with online extensions here.
