Digital SmartRelay 3063 performs the functions of an access controller or key switch for locking devices without a cylinder. In System 3060, it opens electrically operated doors, entrance ways and barriers, and switches lighting, heating and machines on and off. It transmits data from identification media to third-party systems, such as your time-and-attendance system, canteen payment solutions or your facility management system. When combined with a CompactReader, data can be read from both active identification media and smart cards based on MIFARE® Classic/MIFARE® DESFire®/MIFARE Plus®. Top design included.

Digital SmartRelais 2 3063 is unique for comprehensive gateway functionality

Transmit updated blocking lists or new authorisations to SmartRelay 3063. If needed, the intelligent relay will also reliably perform all gateway tasks to provide a virtual or direct network for your entire locking system. SmartRelay then automatically programmes users' media based on their up-to-the-minute authorisations.

Set up virtual networks with Smart Relay 3 3063

SmartRelay 3 3063 – Advanced is a networked control unit consisting of a controller and reader. Up to 3 external readers can be connected. These can be ordered as separate units and can be operated with active and passive identification media. The controller features configurable inputs and outputs and is connected to the network via Ethernet (PoE-capable). The sabotage contact protects against manipulation and triggers an alarm the moment an unauthorised person tries to open the housing. This universal genius is highly versatile. The following two functions deserve particular interest:

• Use as a high-performance gateway in virtual networks
  It transmits access authorisations to ID media in virtual networks.

• Control of technical devices and systems
  It controls installations such as lifts, locker systems and machines inconjunction with the SmartOutput module, which is connected to the SmartRelay 3 in the same way as an external reader.
