The SALTO - XS4 Electronical GEO thumbturn cylinder - Amok function - MIFARE/DESFire - G9E2xK with Euro profile, MIFARE/DESFire ID technology, reader outside, thumbturn inside, is especially suitable for doors whose mortise locks are equipped with Euro profile cylinder perforations. The XS4 GEO Euro profile cylinder fits most doors with mortise locks for European profile cylinders, which also need to be opened from the inside. SALTO GEO is a versatile, cost-effective solution with full integration with the SALTO XS4 platform. The compact dimensions and easy mounting make GEO the ideal electronic locking system for almost every door.

Extensive range of wire-free, stand-alone XS4 GEO electronic cylinders designed for doors where fitting an electronic escutcheon is not possible or required (e.g. antique doors). In addition to use on doors, other applications including post boxes, server racks, cupboards or boxes can be controlled via SALTO SVN access control and protected by GEO electronic camlocks and padlocks against theft or unauthorized use.

Amok function

The Amok special cylinder enables a door to be locked at lightning speed using the knob from the inside without a key or medium. The door can then only be opened from the outside with an authorized medium, as with the standard cylinder. However, thanks to the patented power differential coupling, this is even possible if the inside knob is blocked.

This prevents misuse more reliably than with the error-prone slip clutches that are common in mechanical cylinders. The power differential coupling allows a secure mechanical connection of the outside and inside knob in normal operation. In the event of the slightest difference in the applied force between the outside and inside knob, however, the inside knob is disengaged and priority is given to the outside knob.
