We help you to change your locking system from G1 to G2
With this service package you receive comprehensive advice, conception and programming of your previous G1 locking system on G2 or a mixing plant. The reasons for a changeover are manifold, since on the one hand the G1 product line is now permanently discontinued as of 31.12.2017 and on the other hand many new features are available to you with a G2 locking system. Why a change also makes sense, you can read here. Our technical experts are completely at your disposal. To be able to use this service, the following prerequisites must be met:
- For the mixed operation of G1 and G2 products in a system, the following conditions must be met:
- You need the latest version of the SimonsVoss management software (LSM software release 3.4)
- Tip: If you still have LDB software in use, you can import files from the LDB into the LSM.BASIC.
- You need a programmer that can program both G1 and G2 products:
- This is possible with the SmartCD.G2 programmer from firmware version 9.10.x.xx.
- Tip: As you can easily find out which programmer and which software you are using, you can see the info sheet "Which software and which programmer I have in use".
How the conversion is to take place, you can determine yourself. You have the choice between:
- Remote maintenance via TeamViewer and telephone
- Maintenance and programming on-site by our engineering experts
